Sorbonne University Summer Program 2023

In the summer of 2023, I had joined a two-week program at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. The program was organized by ADIA and included a heavy syllabus that laid paramount importance on coding, Python, and machine learning. Every single day, we used to start with super amazing academic sessions followed by sports or any other fun activity.
Program Highlights:

Academic Sessions: Intensive training in coding, Python, and machine learning.

Sport and Recreation: Organize sporting activities daily to promote physical health and the team spirit. There were also recreational trips to a mall and bowling alley.

Special Activities:
- A Scavenger Hunt was organized by ADIA. Prizes were given to the winners.
- A final competition displaying students' coding talent obtained during the program.

Overall, the program provided a judicious combination of educational and leisure-time experience, culminating in a competitive event to let ourselves shine. That was extremely fun and highly enriching in my leisure time.

Winning Abu Dhabi Schools LEGO League (2024)

I participated in the Abu Dhabi Schools LEGO League, which involved more than 30 schools in addition to my school. My team and I designed and built a robot that could collect recyclable materials and transform them into an art piece. Our great idea and its great implementation led to first place among all schools. We were awarded a LEGO Cup and a first-place certificate.

University of Granada Summer Program 2024

In the summer of 2024, I was enrolled in the ADIA organized two-week program at the University of Granada. This program provided an intensive course on advanced Python programming, accompanied by several extracurricular activities and cultural experiences.

Program Highlights:
Academic Focus: - Advanced Python programming courses.

Sports and Competitions:
- Daily sports activities.
-An internal competition on how to let our programming skills shine.
-Participation in the real-world competition and competing against professionals from all over the world.

Cultural and Recreational Activities:
-Tours within the Alhambra Castle and the legend tour of Granada.
-Viewing of movies, such as Ready Player One and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
- Experience the local cuisine with tapas and paella.
- Weekend trips to the Aquatropic Water Park in Almuñécar, Nerja Cave, and Frigiliana.

Over all, this experience has provided well-rounded experiences that ranged from advanced technical training to rich cultural explorations all the way to recreational fun.

Volunteering with Awnak Team

I volunteered with Awnak Team, where, for a good cause, I spent my time in Ramadan. I was involved in active participation with others in the distribution of food to whoever was observing the fasting in the sacred month.It has been our endeavor to feed and support the poorly fed, the wanderers, and street walkers. Knowing full well that this month of Ramadan is important and bears much influence within the community, we do our best to see them through healthy meals and support for this very crucial moment in their lives.Within this commitment, I have given a total of 30 hours to this noble cause. This experience has directly provided me with community service through various skills and emotional support. Indeed, it felt so rewarding to be a part of this project that addressed not only the immediate needs but also paved ways to develop community cohesion and a sense of caring during Ramadan.

Introduction To AI Course

I have successfully completed the "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" online course provided by Great Learning Academy. This comprehensive training program gave me a deep insight into an understanding of artificial intelligence and its abundant uses in the world today.Within this course, I have learned most of the core concepts and methodologies, such as deep learning and machine learning, and ways in which they are applied in reality. The other main areas of AI which are extended within the curriculum include natural language processing, computer vision, and ethics in AI development. The course, at the same time, enhanced my theoretical knowledge and helped me get practical insight into how AI technologies will be in application in different fields. Thus, this course has so far created a sound background in AI, to the extent that I can be well-equipped to apply these concepts effectively when it comes to their practical application.

Java Programming Online Course

I have completed the "Java Programming" course from Great Learning Academy. I joined this course with zero prior knowledge about the Java programming language. It covered introductory topics of Java, including syntax, object-oriented principles, and core libraries. The hands-on exercises and practical projects helped me have a strong knowledge base in the field of data structures, algorithms, and application development frameworks using Java.This experience has exponentially extended my programming skills and introduced me to a new language, within which I am extremely eager to apply to future projects. Knowledge and practical skills acquired during this course provided a basis in Java, of which I am confident in referring to throughout my continued professional development and programming.

Al Ittihad National Private School Volunteering

I have also volunteered s at Al Ittihad National Private School :

- Classroom Assistant: I dedicated 20 hours to assisting teachers with their duties and supporting students. My responsibilities included reading to young learners, providing academic and emotional support, and even assisting teachers themselves.

- Event Volunteer:

I was actively involved in the Organization School Team, where I volunteered at various events such as parent meetings and graduation ceremonies. My duties during these events included helping attendees find their seats and directing them to different school departments.

Work Experiences

Part Time Job

I gained valuable experience working part-time at my relative's bakery. My responsibilities included various tasks, from production to quality assurance and financial oversight. I started by working on the production line, where I learned about the bakery process and ensured product quality by sampling items before they were sold. Later, I transitioned to a role focused on financial matters, such as reviewing bills and analyzing income and expenses. While the business was small, the experience was incredibly rewarding, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow in this environment.

Internship Experiences

-Nova Engineering systems :

In summer 2023, I got an opportunity for Internship in Nova company which is specialized in supply, installation,testing, and commissioning of Fire Detection & protection Solutions, Security Solutions, and Audio Visual Solutions. My training was in IT department. I had a chance to get experience in :

Handling customer inquiries and providing first-level technical support.
Developed skills in troubleshooting network issues and configuring basic network components.

-SIBCA Company :

In summer 2024, I had an opportunity for Internship in SIBCA company Which is a leading provider of fire protection and safety solutions in the UAE. My training was in ICT department. I had a chance to get experience in:

Gained hands-on experience in IT support, providing first-level technical assistance and troubleshooting basic network issues.
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and Configuring new laptop devices.
Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently.
